This Cyber-shot makes it easy to sort large volumes of image data. Wherever users carry the camera, they can quickly and easily select and view desired photos.

4 viewing modes
Standard Folder view, Date view, Favorites and Event view, are the four ways to view photos. Bundled Picture Motion Browser software allows easy categorisation of photos by event on the user’s PC.

Face searches with Filter by faces
Face Detection technology has been refined to allow face searches in four different categories: All People, Children, Infants and Smiles. Even when the camera contains large volumes of data with hundreds of portrait photos, this convenient feature helps make finding the desired photo extremely easy.
Note：Searching by face is not possible in Folder view.

PHOTOMUSIC (HD Slide Show with Music)
HD Slide Show with Music is a built-in application that combines images with music to produce fun and entertaining slideshows. There are four standard effects (Simple, Nostalgic, Active and Stylish). Any of four music tracks stored in the camera’s memory can also be played in the background for enhanced slideshow enjoyment. The user can watch a slideshow of all recorded images or limit the playback by simply selecting a face type or date on the screen.
Slideshows can be viewed at HD resolution by connecting the camera with an HDTV via optional cable. More personalised slideshows are also possible by transferring favourite tunes from a PC to the T NEW2.
Notes: The camera is equipped with a monaural speaker. The TV output is also a monaural. Music tracks can be up to five minutes long. Movies cannot be playback in HD slideshows.

Relive the excitement with HD viewing
Photos can be viewed in glorious high definition on a BRAVIA or similar HDTV simply by connecting the camera via optional HD output adaptor cable. It’s the perfect way to show photos to friends and family members. Now the 720p HD snap movies shot by T NEW2 can also be viewed in HD quality, too.

PhotoTV HD
T NEW2 is compatible with the PhotoTV HD standard. Users can enjoy an exciting new digital photo viewing experience by displaying high-definition colour images of unprecedented realism and full HD quality on compatible televisions. Connecting with a PhotoTV HD capable Sony HDTV is especially convenient via optional HD output adaptor cable.
Notes: Special TV settings are required. Further details are available in the BRAVIA instruction manual.

In Camera Retouching
Still images captured with the T NEW2 can immediately be touched up and edited in the camera. There are ten editing functions available: Trimming, Red-Eye Correction, Soft Focus, Partial Color, Fisheye Lens, Cross Filter, Radial Blur, Retro, Happy Faces, and Unsharp Masking.

Creative painting tools
The bundled Paint Pen enables decorating of photos with words and drawings. There are also more than 30 stamps, 15 types of picture frames, and two sizes for saving images: VGA and 3 Mega.
Notes: Painted images are saved separately from the original images. The resolution of the stamps, frames, and painted strokes is the same for both image sizes.

Multi Resizing
This function allows original images taken at 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9 aspect ratio to be resized with ease in the camera to meet different needs. Images recorded in the 4:3 ratio, for example, can be resized to 16:9 for HDTV viewing at 2-megapixel resolution. And images recorded in the 16:9 ratio can be resized to 4:3 at VGA resolution for uploading to blogs. Fine-tuned trimming is also possible with the help of a 4-direction button on the Touch Screen.
Note: Images cannot be uploaded directly from the camera to a blog.

Wide zoom display
A wide zoom function allows photographs to be displayed at the 16:9 aspect ratio. Even photographs with a 4:3 or 3:2 aspect ratio can be displayed at the 16:9 aspect ratio on the LCD or connected wide-screen television. Selecting a desired aspect ratio on the playback screen is extremely simple.
Note: Movies are displayed at the 4:3 aspect ratio.

Easy-to-use Function Guide
Since a user's guide is displayed when selecting the shooting mode and camera settings, beginners can enjoy comfortable trouble-free operation right from the start. This display can also be turned off from inside HOME.

Bundled PMB (Picture Motion Browser) Ver.4.2.02
This image management software comes bundled with the camera for use on PCs. Using the same Calendar view as the camera, it can organise and play recorded movies and still images in the order they were created.
Various features contribute to movie viewing pleasure. A highlight index function, for example, displays thumbnails from various scenes in the footage to enable easy finding and playback of favourite scenes.
Picture Motion Browser Ver.4.2.02 also allows searching for images by face type - whether the images were photographed using the Filter by Faces function or taken in the past by other makes of digital camera. The software can even pick out facial features from an image and conduct a search for similar faces, making picture management much easier and more enjoyable.
Included in Ver.4.2.02 is eDeco, a new function that allows even beginners to effortlessly add unique mood-enhancing elements to still images and movies such as matching photo frames, text, background music, and sound effects. Images modified by eDeco can be easily uploaded to photo sharing web sites. Moreover, this latest version of PMB supports easy editing of high-definition (HD) Cyber-shot movies and exporting movies to WMV files. In addition, PC Sync is now available for Memory Sticks. You can export the images from the PC to T NEW2 by just clicking the “Easy Exporter” icon displayed on the PMB. You can carry around all the memories as if you were carrying the photo album with you.
PMB also comes with Movie Tracer, another new function that constructs a panoramic image from a number of movie frames. Thanks to the expanded range of functions, new PMB dramatically enhances the joy of shooting photos and movies with Cyber-shot.
